Biography
William was the son of James Dale, and was age 25 living at Ballynasollus as of 1853.
On 16 Aug 1853 at Oritor Presbyterian, he married Sarah Henry(25) of Drumnamalta, daughter of Richard Henry, farmer. [1]
Research Notes
There is a death record for William Dale, 30 Jan 1901, age 73, widower of Stranagard (Desertmartin, Magherafelt) - informant William Bell, nephew, Stranagard. [2] Will calendar "William Dale late of Desertmartin County Londonderry Shopkeeper who died 30 January 1901 granted at Londonderry to Robert Johnston Farmer.".
However, this profile's nephew William Bell (1882-1963) was recorded as living at home in Ballynasollus two months later, in the 1901 census. There are no Bell or Dale at Stranagard in the 1901 census.
