Nannie (Dale) Powers is a part of US Black heritage.

Nannie was born around 1870 probably in Bath County, Kentucky. She the daughter of either Samuel (Dale) Young (abt.1848-1932) or James Allen Bromagen (1858-1904) and Elizabeth Wilson.

In 1880 She was living in Owingsville, Bath County, Kentucky, United States with Sam and Elizabeth Dale, Her siblings, Her grandmother and an aunt. She was listed as being 11 years old. ^[1]

She married Alexander Powers on 20 Dec 1886 in Bath County, Kentucky, United States. ^[2]

She passed away during childbirth of twins on 31 Aug 1914 in Owingsville, Kentucky. ^[10][11]

Her death certificate lists that she was laid to rest in the Owingville Colored Cemetery however family has confirmed that she was laid to rest in the Greencrest Cemetery which is also in Owingsville. ^[12]
