His baptism record says that Daniel Olsen was born at Dale (sometimes spelt Dahle - the "h" was silent and just for cosmetics anyway) (then in Hetland today part of Sandnes) 6 (not 13 as in all later records) Aug and baptized 10 Sep 1899^[1] as son of David Olsen and wife Sikke Olava Eilefsdatter married in Riska subparish, Hetland 19 Nov 1885^[2]

Daniel Dale married Anna Rebekka Høiland in Høyland 22 May 1920^[3]

They had a son Dankert born at Trones, Høyland 6 Aug 1920^[4].

Road worker Daniel emigrated alone from Stavanger 4 Apr 1923^[6]

Daniel Dale worked on the railroad. He was also a carpenter. His last name was Dahle, but when he migrated from Norway to the US, the spelling of his last name was changed to Dale.

When and where did he marry Dorthea? Not in Norway

Daniel was cremated and David Pedersen scattered his ashes.
