Biography

Elizabeth was born in 1924. She was the daughter of Eric Dalgleish and Gertrude Connolly. She married Stanley (Stan) Throne Crick in Sydney in 1951. He was the son of a former Lord Mayor of Sydney. They lived at Muswellbrook for a time. Betty passed away in Hawks Nest in 2005, and her funeral was held at the Catholic Church as Tea Gardens, where her aunt Catherine Cecilia (Connolly) Doran (1864-1960) was a schoolteacher as a young woman. Betty's husband Stan passed away in 2013. She is buried at the Seaham General Cemetery, near her brother.
