Biography

James was born before 28 March 1777 in Larbert, Stirling, Scotland. He was the son of Thomas Dalrymple and Alison (Mitchell) Dalrymple.[1]

James was baptized on 28 March 1777 in Larbert, Stirling, Scotland.[1]

When James was 18 he married on 2 September 1795 in Falkirk, Stirling, Scotland.[2]

He passed away after 1798.

Research Notes

Information from Linda Merle's family tree: "James appears to have been named after James FISH the manager of the coal works at Shielhill, parish of Polmont. His testament was probated T3 Dec 1795 as noted in the Registry of Testaments Index for Stirling 1607-1800, LDS film 0844772.".
