Biography

Andrew Dalrymple was baptised at the First Congregational Society (Unitarian) in Uxbridge, MA on 10 Apr 1757 as son of David and Susanna Dalrymple.[1]

Andrew Dalrymple married 15 March 1786 to Rosanna Scot as cited below under sources.

Dalrymple-524, Andrew Dalrymple (1756-abt.1790) of Massachusetts has been conflated here with Dalrymple-643, Andrew Dalrymple (1746-1786) of New Jersey.

This Dalrymple-524 was born and lived in Massachusetts and is not DAR Ancestor # A029404 who was born and lived in New Jersey according to the DAR record #A029404. This Dalrymple-524 can be found at FamilySearch here: (https://ancestors.familysearch.org/en/L2YW-VVW/andrew-dalrymple-1756-1843) and also child #10 here: (https://www.genealogy.com/ftm/h/o/w/Genola-M-Howard/GENE1-0002.html)

His New Jersey death and the marriage to E. Rickay that were based on the DAR record has been removed, as has the DAR Ancestor # A029404 information. It is of course possible that he is a different DAR ancestor, as there is one from Massachusetts, but there is no firm link yet.

Wife is Rosanna Scott who he m. on Mar 15, 1786. The source is given in notes on the profile listing another wife...
