Biography
Thomas was born in 1815 and christened in Carlisle, Cumberland, England on February 15 of that year. [1] He was the son of John Dalton and Elizabeth (McKnight) Dalton.
In the 1851 England and Wales Census, he was unmarried and working in Cumberland as a farmer employing five people. [2]
Research Note
There is a possible record for his death in 1886 in Carlisle. [3]
