Letitia was born January 8, 1806 in Greenbrier County, West Virginia, daughter of William & Mary Renick Dalton. She married John McCoy
John McCoy and wife, Letitia and sons Mason Lewis and William Rennick moved from Greenbrier County WV to Lafayette County, Missouri in 1838, along with Johns parents, Lewis and Mary McCoy. John and family moved to Henry Co MO in 1854 and on to Cass County, Missouri in 1865. John sold 40 acres to be laid out as town site of Grant, Missouri (all that remains of Grant is Grant cemetery, where many of the McCoys are buried).[1]
