Jack was the only son of James T. Dalton and Plessie I. Hammond. He was born in 1900. He married Emma Hunter in 1926. They had two children, daughters Doris and Barbara. They divorced in 1946. He next married Wilma E. "Billie" Magney. They had one child, a son John "Tommy." Jack died in 1965 and was buried in Fort Lincoln Cemetery. [1]
DALTON, ROY S. (JACK). On Friday, May 7, 1965, ROY S, DALTON, of 2717 Terrace rd., s.e., husband of Wilma M. Dalton; father of John Thomas Dalton, Doris E. Troobnick and Barbara D. Kern; brother of Lois Caldwell and Labonne Breakfield. Friends received at the Robert E. Wilhelm Funeral Home, 4306 Suitland rd., s.e., where services will be held on Monday, May 10, at 10:30 a.m. Interment Fort Lincoln Cemetery.[19]
