Biography

David was a son of William Marion Dalton and Mary Loiza Blaylock. He married Mary Lucy C. Mitchell in Dec 1900. Children: Dora Lola, Mary Estelle, William Toliver, David Clarence, Jimmie (Johnny) Eugene. He passed away on 15 Feb 1971 in Grenada, Mississippi.

Services held at Alva February 5 for Mr. Dalton. David Fuller Dalton, age 92, died February 3 at the Grenada County Hospital. Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. February 5 at the Alva Baptist Church. Revs. J. B. Middleton and George Heath officiating. Burial was in the Parker cemetery. Lee Funeral Home in charge.

Mr. Dalton was a member of the Alva Church. He is survived by four children, Eugene Dalton, Duck Hill; Clarence Dalton, Cleveland; Mrs. R. L. Cook, Eupora: and Mrs. R. A. Crick, Arlington, Tennessee. He also leaves 15 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great grandchildren. Pallbearers were Herbert Dalton, R. D. Crick, Felix Ingram, Gene Dalton, Fuller D. Cook, and Marion Morgan."^[1]
