Biography
Catherine Daly was born in about 1815 in Mordyke, County Cork, Ireland, the daughter of Daniel Daly and Mary Kenikane.
Catherine Daly was baptized on November 5, 1815 in Skibbereen in the United Parish of Creagh and Sullon. Her baptismal sponsors are Florence Driscoll and Julian Hourihane.
Catherine Daly may be the same Catherine Daly who married Denis Harrington of Ardagh and had two children, Mary Harrington in 1833 and Cate Harrington in 1839. If so, she was about 17 when she married in about 1832.
Catherine Daly may also be the same Catherine Daly who married Denis Harrington of Ardagh and was a wedding sponsor the marriage of Julia Harrington to John Driscoll of Ardagh on February 15, 1855 at Kilcoe RC Chapel in Aghadown Civil Parish, County Cork, Ireland.
