Biography

Catherine Dame or Damm was born about 1852 in Germany, the daughter of Peter and Catherine Damm.^[1][2]

She married first to Carl or Charles Housman on 13 October 1878 in Boston. He was a laborer residing in Boston, born about 1849 in Germany to Charles & Margaret Houseman. It was also his first marriage.^[2][3] They had one daughter:

• Catherine M. (Hausmann) Keen (1879-1908)

She married secondly to August Kelle on 13 October 1889 in Boston. He was a porter, born about 1844 in Germany to Frederick & Caroline Kelle. It was a second marriage for both.^[1]

They had three children:^[4]
