Biography
John Damerell (variously spelled Damrel, Damarell, Damerall!) was baptised on Boxing Day (26th December) 1815 in Malborough, Devon, England. [1] He was the son of Richard Damerell and Mary (Edwards) Damerell.
In 1844 John married Elizabeth Perring, [2] and the couple had Robert, James, John, Richard, George Henry, Elizabeth, Mary Jane, Susan, and Thomas.
John worked as an agricultural labourer.
