John Damerell (variously spelled Damrel, Damarell, Damerall!) was baptised on Boxing Day (26th December) 1815 in Malborough, Devon, England. [1] He was the son of Richard Damerell and Mary (Edwards) Damerell.
Birthdate is unlikely to be forthcoming, as there were no birth certificates at that period, and only the baptism was recorded in most cases.
