Craig Allen Damon, 63, of Main Street, Brocton, NY passed away Saturday afternoon, December 14, 2013 at his home after an extended illness. He was born in Jamestown, NY on April 12, 1950 and was the son of the late Milton and Agnes Trombly Damon. He was raised in Cassadaga, NY, and then moved to Brocton, where he spent the remainder of his life. He graduated from Brocton Central School and also was a Veteran of the Vietnam War, having served his country in the United States Army. Craig's usual occupation was as a self-employed laborer working in the gas fields well tending, working for the various grape farmers in the area, and he also worked as a semi-truck driver. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by one son, Brenner Paul Purell.[1]
