Biography
Wilson Damron was born on December 24, 1850 in Commonwealth of Virginia, son of Thomas Damron (1826–1874) and Mary Damron (1828–1891).
Wilson married Maria Elisabethe Zernial (born on August 8, 1862 in Brenham, Washington County, Texas; daughter of Frederich Eduard Zernial and Pauline (Weiss) Zernial). Their children were:
- Frank Richard Damron (1890–1968)
- James Barbee Damron (1892–1961)
- Mary Virginia Damron (1894–1929)
- Agnes Damron (1896–1995)
- Gladys D Damron (1902–1989)
In 1860, Wilson (9) was living in Wayne, Virginia with his father, Thomas (33); his children, Mary (3/12), and Nancy (22); his brother, Richard (14); and Palley Damron (30), Sarah A Damron (13), Wilson Damron (10), Elizabeth Damron (8), Lucinda Damron (6), and Missouria Damron (undefined). [1]
In 1910, Wilson (59) was living in Justice Precinct 1, Wharton with his children, Mary (47), Frank (20), James (17), Mary (15), Agnes (13), and Gladys (7); and Wilson Damron (58), Ida Damron (24), and Ruth Damron (1). [2]
Wilson died on June 9, 1927 in Wharton, United States, aged 76.[3] [4]
