Biography
Payton was born in 1766 at Dedham, Massachusetts, the son of Nathaniel and Abigail (Dean) Dana.[1][2]
Payton was a silversmith, jeweler, and watchmaker.[3]
Payton married Esther Sweet in 1791 at Providence.[4]
Payton passed away 30 July 1854.[5]
