Biography
Carl Lorentz, (son of Johan Ulrik) born 1777-09-10. Lieutenant with the admiralty 1799-10-21. Captain with the Army’s fleet. Released from that service as Captain 1820-02-15. Then released as Major 1821-11-29. He became a frigate Captain in the Brasilian Marine 1823. Awarded the Royal Order of the Sword 1830-12-01. Also made a Knight of the Brasilian Order. He died in 1843 in Santos in Brasil. His children were raised in the Roman Catholic religion. Married 1823-10-15 to Floriana Candida Carneiro, daughter of Joseph Pereira and Lovisa Gonzaga Carneiro in Rio Janeiro. [1]

Anna Magdalena, born 1825-07-04 in Brasil. She was an Abbess in a cloister. Fransiska, född 1828, död ogift.
August Fredrik, born 1831. Major. Major 1898.
