Elizabeth Dane was born in 1816 in Eyam, Derbyshire and was christened at St. Lawrence's Church there on 26 May 1816, the daughter of Samuel Dane and Mary (Thornhill) Dane[1][2]

1871 Census: Eyam, Derbyshire; aged 54 years (b. Eyam, Derbyshire), a Housekeeper; also recorded is William Dane (19 yrs) and Apprentice, probably Elizabeth's nephew, the son of her brother Uriah[7]
Death
Elizabeth Dane died on 14 January 1872 in Eyam, Derbyshire; her Will was proved on 8 March 1872 in Derby, Derbyshire and was proved by Daniel Willis, a Shoemaker, of Eyam[8][9][10]
