Biography
William was born about 1867. He was the son of Hugh Daniel Griffith and Laura Jones. He appears as William Hugh Daniel in 1871, but his brother has Griffith as the surname and William probably used Griffith in later years as well, if he survived. He does not appear with the family in 1880 and may have been left behind with relatives.
