Biography
Hazel (Daniel) Hall was born in the Colony of Victoria (1851-1900)
Hazel was born in 1896, the daughter of Louis Michael Daniel (1864-1914) and Edith Isabella Lynch (1868-1950). [1]
Her Engagement to Sam Gordon Hall (1891-1982) was announced in 1915.
- An engagement is announced between Miss Hazel Ruth Daniel, second daughter of the late Mr. Louis M. Daniel and Mrs. Daniel, of "Montana," Elsternwick, and Mr. Samuel Gordon Hall, youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. John S. Hall, of "Parkview," Lancefield. [2]
Less than 2 months later Sam enlisted in the A.I.F.
On his return, they married. [3]
- HALL—DANIEL. —On the 17th December, 1919, at All Saints' Church of England, Windsor, Samuel Gordon, youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. J. S. Hall, Riddell, to Hazel Ruth, second daughter of Mrs. E. Daniel, St. Kilda. [4]

- Garrick Ridley (1922-1942) Lest We Forget.
- Colin John (c. 1927- unknown).
Hazel passed away in 1967, aged 71. [5]
Following a service on 4 July 1967 at Springvale Botanical Cemetery, her remains were cremated and the ashes scattered. [6]
