Biography

Frederick Harold Daniel was born 11th June, 1906, Sydney, New South Wales, the son of Ada Daniel. [1] [2]

Marriage. In 1929, he married Ruth Boaden.

Colonel Pennell, O.C., of the Bathurst Division, Salvation Army, officiated at the wedding on Saturday afternoon, of Bandsman Frederick Daniel, eldest son of Mrs. J. Pound, of Sampson Street, Orange, and Miss Ruth Boaden, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Boaden, of Bowling Green, Cargo, the ceremony taking place in the Salvation Army Citadel, Orange. The bride, attired in the regulation dress of dark navy, with a white sash, was attended by Miss Margaret Boaden, bridesmaid, while Mr. Viv. Wemyss was best man. When the ceremony concluded, the wedding party motored to Bowling Green, where the breakfast was served, and here Col. Pennell presided. A fine array of gifts was presented to the happy couple, including a dinner set from the bridegroom's employers. The honeymoon is being spent on the South Coast. [3]

Widowed. Sadly, Ruth died in 1931, after two months of severe illness. There were no children. [4]

Marriage. In 1935, he married Nellie May Martin in Orange, New South Wales. [5]

Particular interest was shown in the wedding at the Methodist Church, on Saturday night, when Nellie May Martin, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. A. Martin, of Smith Street, Orange, was married to Mr. Frederick Harold Daniels, son of Mrs. Pound, of Orange, by the Rev. Wesley Stocks. .... .... Misses Elva Martin, Eveline Eslick and Lillian Stokes attended the bride, and Miss Edith Martin acted as trainbearer. ... Mr. Ernest Pound carried out the duties of best man. The breakfast was held at the Memorial Hall, ... [6]

Death. Frederick died 17th December, 1990. His remains were interred in the Orange cemetery. [7]
