Biography
The daughter of Plummer Daniel and his first wife, Sarah (Massey) Daniel, Nancy Daniel was born in Rhea CountyTennessee[citation needed] in 1826.
She married Frasier Nelson, marrying in Bedford County, Tennessee around 1846[citation needed] and having nine children together. In 1850, they made their home in Bedford, Tennessee,[1] residing by 1860 in Wayne County's 11th Civil District,[2] residing in in Civil District 11, which was enumerated in Grainger County in 1870.[3] In 1880, Nancy and her family were enumerated in District 12 of Wayne County.[4]
Widowed in 1888, Nancy Nelson is believed to have passed away around 1890. She is buried at Butler Grove Cemetery in rural Wayne County.[5]
