In the Australian electoral rolls for 1908 she was living with her parents at Westbury Hill, Pittsworth, Queensland.
On 13th October 1909, she married James Frederick Hyde.[2] They were to have four children.
Between 1925 and 1967 Emily and her family lived in Towoomba and in Warwick, Queensland.
Emily passed away on 3rd September 1967 at Warwick, Queensland,[3] aged 81 years, and is buried in the Warwick General Cemetery.[4]
