1870 Census for Ceredo in Wayne County, West Virginia shows Lousia Daniels, age 8, born VA in the household of William and Martha Daniels. Actually the census taker's handwriting makes the surname look like "Danills" and we are left to wonder if Lousia was the census taker's misspelling of the name Louisa. The census does provide one more fact, she attended school and is able to read and write. There are no further records for her. She does not appear in the 1880 census and Wayne County, West Virginia vital statistic registers do not show a birth, death or marriage for Lousia / Louisa Daniels.
