Biography

Burney Cecil Daniels was born 17 May 1886 in Wayne County, West Virginia. In 1900 he was age 14 and resided with his parents, Henry and Mahala Daniels, in Wayne County, West Virgina. [1] [2] His full given name, Burney Cecil Daniels, and birth date are found on his 1942 World War II Draft Registration. [3]

NOTE: Researchers should note there was another man who has been confused with Burney Cecil Daniels. The other man was Burney Robert Daniels, born 10 August 1884, who was residing in Marshall County, Illinois 1917-1918 when he registered for the World War I Draft. On the other hand Burney Cecil Daniels registered for the World War I Draft in Wayne County, West Virginia. [4][5] The two men have different birth dates and middle names as well as living in different states.

Burney married 4 February 1911 in Lawrence County, Ohio Virginia Davis.[6]

Social Security records show Burney Daniels, (SSN: 235-78-5865) was residing at Prichard, Wayne County, West Virginia when he died in March 1976. His birth was given as 17 May 1886.[10]
