Sarah Maria Daniels was born 5 Jan 1842 in Chester, Connecticut[1], daughter of John Daniels (1809-1867) and Maria Lucinda Boardman (1820-1864). Sarah's family lived in Brooklyn, New York for part of her childhood, but then removed to Hartford. On 15 May 1862 in Hartford[2] she married Edmund Donald Roberts (1838-1918). Sarah passed away 5 Dec 1863 age 21 in Hartford[3][4] without issue.
