Biography

Marie Françoise Danis dite Tourangeau was born on 29 Sept 1795 in Lachine, Montreal, daughter of Jean Danis and Anne Badel.[1]

She married Jacques Charlebois on 23 Nov 1716 at Notre-Dame-de-Montréal. Together, they had the following (known) children [2]:

  1. Marie Charlotte, n. 23 Aug 1717, Ste-Anne-de-Bellevue, d. 4 June 1783, Pierrefonds (Ste-Geneviève); Louis DENIS STDENIS on 6 February 1736 at Notre-Dame-de-Montréal
  2. Jacques, n. 5 Feb 1719, Notre-Dame-de-Montréal, d. 20 April 1801, St-Benoît (Deux-Montagnes); he married Marie Catherine ROY PORTELANCE on 7 Jan 1745 at Ste-Anne-de-Bellevue
  3. Jean Baptiste Amable, n. 7 March 1721, Ste-Anne-de-Bellevue, d. 11 May 1792, St-Hyacinthe (Notre-Dame-du-Rosaire); he married Marie Madeleine BRODEUR LAVIGNE on 30 Jan 1747 at Ste-Anne-de-Varennes


After her first husband passed away, she married Jean Baptiste Abraham dit Desmarais on 16 Nov 1722 at Notre-Dame-de-Montréal. Together, they had the following (known) children

  1. Marie Françoise, n. 15 July 1723, Notre-Dame-de-Montréal, d. 6 Feb 1794, Vaudreuil (St-Michel); Joseph BRABANT LAMOTHE on 30 Jan 1741 at Notre-Dame-de-Montréal
