James or "Andy" (as he was also known as) was married twice:
Husband of Laura Jane Pope— married 26 Apr 1879 in Alleghany County, North Carolina, United States. They had four children together: Joseph Samuel Danner, Newton Gleaves Danner, Fred Newell Danner and Kelley C. Danner. Note: James' first wife Laura Jane passed away 2 Oct 1886.
He was also the husband of Missouri Belle Lofflin.They had six children together: Bessie A. (Danner) Armentrout, Lillie M. (Danner) Hager, Mary C. Danner, James Harrison Danner, Willie B. Danner and Laura J. Danner.
James Andrew (Andy) Danner passed away 2 May 1941 in Fort Chiswell, Wythe County, Virginia, United States. James is buried in the Danner Cemetery off of Danner Road in Fort Chiswell, Wythe County, Virginia. He's buried alongside his first wife, Laura Jane Pope, and his second wife, Belle Lofflin. [1]
