William Darbro, Confederate Martyr.
Son of Thomas Darbro and Elizabeth Alcorn. He married Mary Ann Bruce on October 3, 1858 in Gallatin County, Kentucky. Father of Permelia, Catherine, and John. Prisoner of War during the Civil War from Dallasburg, executed by firing squad authorized by Union General Burbridge near Pleasureville.[1][2]
