I saw you posted a question about creating an ahnentafel list on a freespace page. Did you ever do that?

I was playing with mapping out my tree in Excel and that evolved in to a file that lets me create an ahnentafel list that I paste into a widget on my profile. It should be visible.

That's a good question. The only Phalen I see is Laurence S Phalen who I once had as the husband of a Catherine/Kate Miller, a daughter of my 2ggrandfather Noah Miller. I don't have any dates for him except that married her 27 Oct 1897 in Licking County, Ohio. I had tried her out as a wife of Lawrence but I have since withdrawn her since the info in the censuses don't work right but the earlier info is still in Wikitree. But if we're actually related, it may be possible that they were married and had at least one son who survived and is your ancestor. Or it's possible we're related through another line. I'll go check and see what I can find on GEDmatch.

Hi Dave,

You have a Phalen posted in your tree and GEDmatch says we're related (A194935). I was wondering what you knew about your Phalen line.

Thanks, Candice

We started a discussion in G2G about keeping those teams active year round: https://www.wikitree.com/g2g/432441/did-you-lead-team-for-one-the-thons-keep-the-team-spirit-going

I'd love to hear what you think! Come join the discussion :-)
