Biography
Richard Darling was an early resident of Jamaica, New York. He married Abigail (Messenger) Mills about 1661. the town of Jamaica, then called Rustdorp, was building their Town house and agreed to hire Andrew Messenger and his "son Richard Darling" on 11 April 1662.[1][2] Therefore it is assumed that he married the daughter of Andrew.
