Son of Thomas Darling Sr. & Ruth Ann Beech. Husband of Juliann Martin.

BIO: "DARLING, Rev. Thomas J., a native of New York, died Jan. 6, 1881, aged 73 years. He moved with his parents to Wright's Corners, Ind., married Julia A. Martin in 1829, received license from the Miami Q. M.[Quarterly Meeting] Oct. 18, 1839, and was ordained at the Second Creek church, Aug. 20, 1841. He preached to churches in the vicinity of his home, was earnest in exhortation, fervent in prayer, zealous in preaching and hence useful in his calling." --from "Free Baptist Cyclopedia," pub. 1889 by Burgess and Ward.

Thomas was born in 1817. He passed away in 1883.
