Biography
Jacob Darling was born on the 15th of May 1798 in Hardy County, Virginia {now West Virginia}.
His first wife, Temperance, died at 32 years of age. Their three children (below) died 9 years later in 1952, along with a child from his second wife, most likely from an illness.
