Biography
Elizabeth Darnall was born before 1707, in St James Parish, Charles County, Maryland, a daughter of Edward Darnall and Sarah Robey. [1]
About 1735, in Charles County, Maryland, Elizabeth married William Thomas, born circa 1700, in Prince George's County, Maryland, a son of Daniel Thomas and Anne Humphrey. William was the widower of Anne Jenkins, who was the mother of two children, Notley Thomas and Leonard Thomas. [2] Children of Elizabeth and William are:
- John Thomas, born June 7, 1736, in Price George's County, Maryland
- Edward Thomas, born October 2, 1740, in Price George's County, Maryland
- Lieutenant Benjamin Thomas, born 1741, in St Mary's County, Maryland, died January 29, 1816, at Point of Rocks, Frederick County, Maryland, married Eleanor Wells [3]
- Sarah Anne Thomas, born July 23,1748, in Frederick County, Maryland
- Francis Thomas, born June 23, 1750, in Frederick County, Maryland
- William Thomas, born June 28, 1752,
