Biography
Ruth Darnell was born on 24 Sep 1903[1] in rural Sycamore, DeKalb, Illinois as the daughter of Newton Darnell (1858-1930) and Emma Anna (Marshall) Darnell (abt.1863-1941)[2][3][4][5]
Four siblings were George M Darnell (1885-1962), Arthur Darnell (1886-1980), and Alice (Darnell) Weeden (1892-1977)[5] and Nellie (Darnell) Westlake (1889-1989).[2]
In 1910 she was age 7 and living on Sycamore Road in Burlington Township, DeKalb County, IL along with her parents Newton (51) and Anna (47) and four older siblings - George Darnell (25), Arthur Darnell (24) ,Nellie (Darnell) Westlake (21), and Alice (Darnell) Weeden(18). [6]
On 27 Sep 1922, Ruth (19) and Edwin Warren Weeden (1890-1952) married in Oregon, Ogle, Illinois.[5][4][3]
A daughter, Doris Louise Weeden (1925-1925) was born in Illinois.[7] and died the same day on 1 Nov 1925.[2][8]
Ruth was a homemaker and member of the Sycamore United Methodist Church, The Sycamore Garden Club and the Ottoman Society.[2]
Ruth Darnell Weeden died at the age of 91, on Sunday, 26 Feb 1995[1] at the Oak Crest Retirement Center in Sycamore, DeKalb, Illinois, USA[3] and was placed to rest at the Elmwood Cemetery in Sycamore, DeKalb, Illinois.[2][5]

Ruth Darnell Weeden died on 26 Feb 1995 in Sycamore, DeKalb, Illinois[9] and was placed at rest at the Elmwood Cemetery in Sycamore, DeKalb, Illinois.[10]
