Laura Jane Darnell was born in Ashland, Ashe County, North Carolina on August 18, 1887. She was the daughter of Alexander Darnell and Louisa Sheets.[1][2][3]
Laura was married, at the age of 17, on July 25, 1885 in Falling Spring, Greenbrier County, West Virginia to Thomas Clingman Adams, He was the son of Jesse Franklin Adams and Mary Nancy Barlow.[1][4][5]
Laura Jane Darnell passed away December 3, 1899, in Baltimore, Maryland (Find a Grave and West Virginia Death Index) or Falling Spring, Greenbrier, West Virginia (Family Search and Ancestry Family Trees), She was buried in the Old Droop Church Cemetery, in Beard, Pocahontas County, West Virginia,[1][2]
