Biography
- Charles Edward Clark and Gladys Evelyn Darrah married June 30, 1921[6] and had one child, Joseph Edward Clark, born July 4, 1924.
- Charles and Gladys were divorced March 25, 1949 [7]
- Gladys died 3 December 1988 in Monmouth, Warren Illinois. [8]
- She is buried in Burlington (Iowa) Memorial Park cemetery alongside her ex-husband.[9]
Discrepancy:
- The "Find A Grave" website gives the birth year for Gladys as 1903. I believe this to be in error. Each year of the Census gives her age as of her latest birthday, but her birthday was at the very end of the previous calendar year. Thus, she has not had her birthday as yet for that year. Subtracting her age from the then-current year gives an incorrect possible date.
