Charles was born in 1836, the son of (English born) Charles Dash and Louisa.[1]
When Charles Dash was born on 2 December 1838, in Wootton Bassett, Wiltshire, England, United Kingdom, his father, Thomas Dash, was 60 and his mother, Ann Moulden, was 28. He married Ann Ealey on 13 April 1861, in Wootton Bassett, Wiltshire, England, United Kingdom. They were the parents of at least 7 sons and 2 daughters. He immigrated to Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada in 1884 and lived in Assiniboia, Northwest Territories, Canada in 1901. He died on 16 April 1913, in Hillesden, Division No. 18, Saskatchewan, Canada, at the age of 74, and was buried in Hillesden, Division No. 18, Saskatchewan, Canada.[1]
