Biography
Céleste (Daube) Bello is a part of US Black heritage.
Céleste Daube, daughter of William Dobbs and Celeste Coffigne, was born about 1800 in New Orleans, Louisiana.[1]
She married Francois Donata Bello, son of Martin Donato Bello and Marie Anne Duchaine, on 30 Nov. 1824 the marriage was recorded at St. Landry Catholic Church, Opelousas, St. Landry Parish, Louisiana.[1] Francois died before Jan. 1838.
She appeared on the census of 13 July 1870 at St. Landry Parish, Louisiana.[2]
She appeared on the census of 21 June 1880 in the home of her grandson, Auguste Donato, at St. Landry Parish, Louisiana.[3]
