William was born in Hull, Yorkshire, England, ~1872. He was the son of William E Daubney and Sarah Owen. He can be seen in the 1901 census, aged 28, employed as a clerk in the paint works, living with his widowed mother Sarah (48), and six siblings, in Leeds, Yorkshire, England. [1]
He passed away in 1947.
