Biography

John Daubney (aka Daubeney, Dawbney) was born in about 1570 in Lincolnshire, England. Some genealogies state his birthplace was in Scotter and others say Waddington. John was the son of William Dawbney of Scotter, England, and his wife Agnes (Unknown) Dawbney.

On October 14, 1598, John married Margaret Beeche from Waddington, Lincolnshire. They had 5 children, the first 4 were born in Dunston, located about 8 miles from Waddington, youngest was born in Scotter.

April, thanks for oticing that. It might be a result of a merge but clearly it is wrong. I have removed Richard Daubney-42 as the father of John. Also Richard coudl not have been married to Suzanne Lezay since they lived two centuries apart so I left Suzanne as the mother of John.

The father of John Daubney-41, Richard Daubney-42, is out of sequence with birth/death dates of 1790-1877. The rest of the paternal tree is also out of sequence.
Dawbney-3 and Daubney-41 appear to represent the same person because: sons have same name - same d.o.b.
