Alma married Carl Acker and some time before 1929 and they had three daughter, with the last child dying on the same day as born, March 3, 1937.

She evidently remarried some time the birth of the last child in 1938 to a Raymond Francis Myers, according to her Death Certificate issued from the now defunct Texas State Hospital in Sanatorium, Tom Green, Texas, USA, once called the State Tuberculosis Sanatorium. Cause of death was acute cardiac dilatation. She had been hospitalized for almost one month. She was listed as "Separated".
