Lillian is notable as the author of "The Broughty Series", a lecturer, Radio reader Lighthouse for the Blind, among many other accomplishments.[1][2]

Lillian was born on November 7, 1914 in Chicago, Illinois. She was the daughter of Ira Daugherty and Katherine Tries.[2][3][4][5][6]

On June 25, 1938, Lillian married Robert Graham Stuart in St. Joseph, Indiana.[2][7][8][9][10][11]

Lillian passed away on March 7, 2009 in Tucson, Arizona.[2][12] Lillian was buried at Saint Philips in the Hills Church Columbarium in Tucson, Arizona.[13]
