Biography
When Susan Matilda Davenport was born on October 5, 1849, in South Carolina, her father, John, was 27, and her mother, Hulda, was 27. She married James 'Jim' William T. Crawford in 1877.[1] They had four children:
- James Preston (1880–1935)[2]
- John Robert (1883–1934)
- Thomas 'Tom' Anthony (1885–1962)[3]
- Benjamin Franklin (1889–1958)[4][5]
Jim died in 1901 and Susan died on March 23, 1928, in Laurens, South Carolina, at the age of 78, and was buried in Princeton, South Carolina.[6]
