Biography

Sophy Davenport was born in 1848 in Griff, Warwickshire, England and baptised as Sophia Davenport on 17 Dec 1848 in Chilvers Coton, Warwickshire. She was the daughter of Samuel Davenport and Mary Jacques. She was the twin of Priscilla. ^[1][2][3]

in 1871, the couple and a daughter, Mary (1) were living with Joseph's mother, Elizabeth. ^[5]

A daughter, Emma Elizabeth Harrison was baptised on 01 Dec 1875 in Bedworth, Warwickshire, England, United Kingdom. ^[6]

In 1881, Joseph (32, a silk weaver born in Bedworth, Warwickshire) and Sophy (32, a silk weaver born in Chilvers Coton, Warwickshire) were living in New Town, Bedworth, Warwickshire with three children, Mary (11), Joseph (8) and Emma E (5) all the children were born in Bedworth, Warwickshire and all three were recorded as scholars. ^[7]
