Davy/Davey debate: In the 1700 & 1800's they used a lot of phonetic language and sometimes Anne's surname was recorded as Davy and sometimes Davey. She was Baptised and recorded as Davy in the Halse "St James" Perish Register. Also on her Baptismal record her name was recorded as Ann. As most other family genealogists use ANNE DAVEY this is the name I use, so as to avoid confusion.
