William was born about 1748 possibly in Addingham, Yorkshire, England. He marries in Messingham 27 MAR 1769. He passed away about 1817.

1748 is estimated if he was 69 when he died. At his marriage he lives in East Butterwick. He is not born in Epworth Dec 1744 because that Wm Davy and his twin John both died a few days after baptism in Dec 1744 according to Freereg
