Mary Martin Davey [1] [2] was born about 1807 in the district of St. Margaret's, Westminster, England.
In 1823 she married William Thomas Ivers, at St John the Evangelist, Westminster, England. They went on to have 5 children. [3] [4]
In 1842, when she was 35, her husband died. In early 1849 she married Alexander Dalziel Henderson; she was 42. The marriage dissolved around 1855.
She died about Oct 1878 in Kensington, London, England, at age 71.
The 1847 marriage of her granddaughter Mary Ann Ivers was witnessed by George Martin Davey. This name is similar to Mary Martin Davey, perhaps indicating they were kin.
