Biography

He was the son of Claude David and Suzanne De Noyon.

Marriage

Françoise Raclot signed a marriage contract in Champlain, seigneurie of la Touche, before Guillaume Larue, notary in said seigneurie, on 2 December 1671, with Michel David[1]. The actual marriage record is lost.

  3. Jean, b & bapt 13 Aug 1678 Cap-de-la-Madeleine; married Marie Anne Dehaye 15 Nov 1713 Cap-de-la-Madeleine
  4. Geneviève, b after 1681 census; buried 12 Dec 1747 Pointe-Claire, listed as around 66 years old, father listed as François David.
  5. Clémence, b 22 Nov 1687 bapt 28th Cap-de-la-Madeleine; married Pierre Braux dit Pominville 28 Jan 1715 Cap-de-la-Madeleine[2]

Michel David 30 ; Francoise Raclot, sa femme, 28 ; enfants : Madelaine 7, René 5, Jean 3 ; 1 fusil ; 1 vache ; 6 arpents en valeur.[3]

On 2 April 1683 his wife was godmother of Marie Françoise Deshayes in Cap-de-la-Madeleine, the baptism states that all parties were resident of Rivière St-Michel.[2]

Requête de Michel David de la rivière Saint-Michel, qui a élu domicile en la maison de Louis Fafard, sieur de Long Val (Longval), sise à Trois-Rivières, demandeur, comparant par Françoise Racleau (Raclos), sa femme, contre Nicolas Perot (Perrot, Perrault), demeurant à Villiers, défendeur, comparant par le sieur du Gay (Duguay), maître chirurgien, demeurant à Trois-Rivières pour qu'en tant qu'exécuteur testamentaire, il soit tenu de délivrer audit David la moitié des grains étant dans la grange de feu Jean Vinçonneau dit la Forest (Laforest, Laforêt), suivant le testament et codicille dudit défunt; le défendeur est condamné à délivrer au demandeur lesdits grains, sauf pour le paiement des dettes de pompes funèbres et de chirurgien et il est aussi condamné aux dépens liquidés à 65 sols, signé Boyvinet (Boivinet) . - 2 janvier 1685[4]
