Biography

Name

Name: Rambert /David. [1]

Rambert was born in 1560. He and Benoite had eight to nine children, but we are aware of four sons: Cyprien, Pierre, Didier (would emigrate to New France), and Jacques. Jacques was councilor at the Bourgogne Parlement. His coat of arms was slightly different from his three brothers: "D'azur à la harpe d'or, au chef cousu de gueules chargé d'un loup passant d'or" (Source: H. Lamant).

He was the son of Pierre David and Marie Peyrettier.

He passed away in 1610.
